Warning: There are some uncensored lolis below. You probably shouldn't look here if you're at work.

I went to Japan!

I was there for approximately 2 weeks. It was wonderful (besides the heat.) Near the end of my trip, everything seemed to have cooled down a little. I almost was a little upset I left when I did, it was a nice day when I did head out... No use getting too upset though, I plan on returning again for some unfinished business in Winter. Maybe I'll take this time to finally visit 北海道?

Overall, I really enjoyed my trip. I didn't do many otaku-oriented things besides stop by a few surugayas and other secondhand stores. Generally, I don't like going completely "what can I buy" on trips. I am there to experience nature and culture, not stuff my suitcase to the brim. (This happened anyways. It's Japan!) Therefore, I planned to get all my "weeb urges" out on the first 2 days of my trip where I would go to WF2026S for one of them, then enjoy myself and only make donations for goshuins and to different shrines for prayer.

(I broke this rule a few days in because a Surugaya had an amazing Reimu Garage Kit, one where only around 50 copies were made...)

I'm so happy about this purchase. She was only around 25 USD too, so you need to forgive me for breaking my internal promise.... No one's perfect! I'll be painting her eventually! Before I paint anything, I want to prepare a proper spray booth. I've come to value my health much more than when I was a child and seriously don't want that horrible resin in my lungs. I remember there being a post about a Japanese sculptor experiencing permanent effects because of all the fumes. Terrifying shit. I'd love for a day where we get biodegradable figures! You can have figures, and when you're tired of them, plant them so they become beautiful flowers... It would save me the trouble of reselling everything!

Since I have moved, I really want to start better organizing my space and curating my collection. I am at heart, a massive maximalist, I like to own everything I can from a thing and I want to break that habit! I really experienced the consequences of that when I had to pack everything. I keep the boxes of every figure, so I needed to slowly disassemble everything, and then slowly pack it all with bubble wrap, repeat at least 150 times (a conservative estimate of my figures.) This isn't even counting my manga, artbooks, VNs, and plushie collection. Near the end, I lost it and decided to ask a few friends to help me with the treat of a free all-you-can-eat dinner as a reward. Without them, I think I would have just ended it all. Haha.

And despite this all, I was still thankful because I wasn't packing furniture! Everything went back with me in a singular large van and after a 6 hour ride, it all came back safely. Since I live with my parents again for now, I need to slowly unpack it all... Which is hard to do because my SISTER TOOK MY ROOM and now I'm stuck in a guest bedroom with a california king bed that will not budge.

<-- no one needs this much space!!!!!!!!! it's fun to roll on but I want my full back so I can see beautiful girls as i doze off!

For the normal people: King: 193 x 203 cm , Cal. King: 182 x 213 cm. Both of these sizes are not needed for someone like me. I have a bed but my SISTER TOOK THAT TOO. I'll set things up eventually. I can't wait to show off my new otaku room, even if my lolis will have to go into hiding for a while. I'm quite shameless (and my mom finds a lot of my figures cute) but I don't think I could explain lolis to her.

Goodbye, my sweeties (and the future sweeties I have on preorder.) One day you all will be displayed with the hags in the glass shelves.

A SMALL GALLERY OF SOME OF MY LOLITASTIC PREORDERS!

I already own the second one and I think the skin looks nicer than the photo I took at WF. It's too yellow for my liking in that image. (Asian saying they don't like too yellow skin. lmfao.) I hate the fact the rest of these are obscured, horrible draconian pro-censorship laws strike again. I am purchasing these figures for research.. I have to observe what they look like in their full glory! You cannot stop me in the name of science!

I'm going to be finishing my links/resources page today. I'll create a proper photo log of all my photos and where I went in Japan.. someday. It's a lot of photos to go through and they're all quite large. I may have to finally get a bigger storage space to host them all. But for now, I'll tackle this "low hanging fruit" and think about that later.

I am pretty happy! (although a little sweaty and miserable.)
